The primary concern of department of paedodontics and preventive dentistry is to promote the oral health of infants, children through adolescents including those people with special health care needs.
We prepare the students with high order skills in clinical diagnosis and management of oral health problems in children under friendly atmosphere.
We guide and counsel the parents in regarding to various treatment modalities including difference facets of preventive dentistry.
Offers community level service to the rural and orphanage children.
Conducting school level dental health program regularly.
Special attention for the developmentally compromised and disabled children in special room. All type of dental, surgical and non-surgical treatments are being carried out under strict aseptic conditions.
Prevention and behavior modification are the two hallmarks of Pediatric Dentistry which make it unique from other specialties of dentistry.
The Department is well spaced, attractive, well equipped keeping in mind the needs of the children including waiting area consisting of aquarium, toys, television, etc. facilities, separate OPD, Counseling& Isolation rooms, clinical areas for Undergraduate and Post Graduate students. Department is being managed by experienced faculties.
